ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome. It was fun! I hope you'll come back when your next Arkane novel comes out ; D
DeleteFantastic author interview style: very casual and inviting, like sharing tea with a friend :)
ReplyDeleteJ.K. Rowling, brilliant indeed, like George Lucas-brilliant. He held onto his merchandising rights from teh beginning, as she did with her digital rights. Authors, remember the legal phrase that could strike your future like a rattlesnake from under a rock: "all formats known and to become known".
Cheers!
Thank you Jenny! Yes, authors need to be savvy. The urge to get the book deal is so great and many work so long and hard to get it that it's like a scene from Faust; like writers will sign anything shoved in front of them! Some like Lucas & Rowling were smart & it paid off for them.
