Yes, that would be a wonderful power to have. Thank you Mera ; )
ReplyDeleteWell just to intrigue you, I will give tell you about a special power that I really do have. I can move faster than most human beings. On average, I can displace my body at a rate of 4 - 5 km/hour. Can you figure out why & how? This is a mystery for you to solve and it is a legit power, that I received 11 years ago, this coming Dec.23rd. Good luck. If you need a clue, you can read some of the comments that I have left so far while hopping through the blogs.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

OK. Another clue. If Mera received her gift, she could eliminate my power, but that would still leave me a very happy woman. Thanks again Natalie.
Thank you for posting your comment Jaxs. Very clever! Your clue that Mera could eliminate your power if she had the power she wishes for makes me think that you travel in a wheelchair perhaps?
ReplyDeleteBest wishes with the contests and I hope you too have a wonderful holiday and a joyful New Year.
Hi Nathalie,
ReplyDeleteI have a stong suspicion that you are writer for a good reason!! I do indeed use a wheelchair for mobility and it can move even faster if I juice it up. I even have one for the beach & ocean. After all I cannot go to the beach and not swim.
I hope to keep up with your blog from the Dominican Republic as I move down there for the winter on Dec.31. Internet is always reliable although it has improved greatly in the past year.
Take care and happy writing in 2012!
Jaxs(Suzanne M)
Thanks Jaxs and yes, stay in touch!
ReplyDeleteHi Nathalie!
ReplyDeletePower eh?
Let me think...maybe i would have power to read peoples mind.Or maybe I do have that power already.Hahhah
or the power to chanel energy as i was always dreaming of doing it ever since.
Ooooh, Mad Pudding, those are good. Emily Adams has some experience with those ; ) Thanks for your entry and good luck.
ReplyDeleteBefore I enter, I hope that this would be an international giveaway (Please? I've never won any online competition before so I'm hoping this would be the one [cross fingers])
ReplyDeleteMy ultimate dream is to have the ability to change people. I know this might seem to be a superficial answer, but yeah. Change in a way that if I on't like you I could change you using only my mental abilities. If others don't like me, I could channel out my system so that I could be more of a good attitude to them.
Another superpower I would want to have is the ability of flight. Who wouldn't want to fly right? I could just scoop myself to the air and glide everywhere (without any restriction on country territorial laws). Hopefully I could carry a special girl with me. . . in hopes to have an aladdin-type of love story.
Anyway, that is all. i hope you like it. :) If I don't win, then I would definitely buy your book (I'm just not that sure if my bookstore here has it).
:)
Joshua,
ReplyDeleteIf the U.S. Postal Service sends flat rate priority mail to your country, then you can enter :-)
Interesting superpower - to be able to change yourself or others so that the relationship is better? Perhaps we all have that power to some degree. You may be interested in what Madame Wong, a character in Emily's House, has to say about that ; )
And yes, the power to fly - to soar - over and above. Flight to me is synonymous with freedom.
The e-book version of Emily's House is available in all online Amazon stores worldwide, as well as the iBook store and Barnes & Noble online.
Even if you don't have a Kindle or other e-book reader, you can download the free Kindle App for your computer or smartphone and read e-books on them ; )
Thanks for your entry and interest in Emily's House and good luck!
